Being away from home for several months is hard. But when you have a loving family and friends its a little easier. A cup of Tim Horton's coffee lets me remember that we go to places like Afghanistan to give people a better chance to have what we have. A better life. Thanks for being there. This is a photo taken while visiting Kandahar Airfield, just before going back out to one of our FOB's(forward operating bases). I decided to skip a chance at lunch and went for a coffee with my crew instead. MCpl Brazeau B-Company 2 Bn. Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Shilo,Manitoba
