Happy Travellers

Our journey starts leaving Springford Ont 3 am june 28 09.We are headed to Alaska. We are two days to Winnipeg Manitoba. We have visited 5 Tim Hortons those breakfast deals are excellent along with a large coffee to go.We drove across the vast praries grabbing a honey cruller here and there. As we drive the Rockie Mountains are in the distance with all their splendor. We toured Johnson Canyon Alberta. We went horse back riding at Lake Louise Alberta a great day.On to Smithers BC where the picture was taken imagine that view as you have your double cream 1 sugar large coffee with Hudson mountain BC in the background. On to Prince Rupert BC we are catching the Alaska Ferry up the inside passage to Haines Alaska.Lots of photo chances of whales dolphins eagles and scenery. My husband has enjoyed the 37 hour break from driving. Our drive starts at Haines again on to Valdez Alaska where we took a boat tour of Prince William Sound saw more whales seals glaciers bears puffins which is a bird. Plus the scenery with snow covered mountains and icebergs. Then we drove to Fairbanks and North Pole Alaska. The North Pole is like Christmas all year with Santa. We started our way back to Whitehorse Yukon HURRAY a Tim Hortons a sandwich deal.Took the Cassiar Hiway to Hyder Alaska where we viewed Grizzly and black bears feeding on salmon great photos.Went for a gondala ride at Lake Louise. On our way to visit family. Finally back in Ontario.Took a tour boat ride on Lake of the Woods in Kenora very scenic.Home in a few days.We stopped in 26 different Tim Hortons.Made new friends along the way. Most of the trip was great other than almost colliding with a moose in Northern Ontario and Driving in a tornado warning across the praries which dosen't leave many places to hide.I guess this is all part of the adventure. We were gone 34 days our own bed will feel pretty good.Looking forward to doing it again in 2 years.Lots more to tell next time .I recommend this trip to any one.Goodby for now
